I want to buy an eyeshadow from mac...But they cost about 16 ea


So should I buy an eye palette like the one on here

the mac 224. They do cost a lot, but I would just invest in one. I did when I was like 14 or so with my friend and nothing else has compared since now except Stila.

yes i would recommend buying the palette!( i have it) %26amp; it comes with a variety of colours so you can wear a certain colour if you want to be more natural or if your going out you can dress your eyes up with a more intense colour!





Ps; I personally use my finger when applying eyeshadow i dunno why i just seem to do it better, but for brushes any small eyeshadow brush should do the trick doesnt necessarily have to be mac

MAC is always a good brand but if you dont have alot of eyeshadows get a pallete





if you want bright colors: ben nye grand lumiere pallete





if you want softer neutral colors: purminerals beauty and numbers pallette this pallette has directions for every eye color





if u want singles or duos: too faced sephora uban decay MAC





i suggest: MAC pigments or mineralized eyeshadow duos from MAC





these may be pricier but are high quality with great color pay off





remember you can find good prices on MAC stuff on ebay dicount stores and samples at the counters
I think you'd be better off buying from the drug store products like Rimmel or CoverGirl.... MUCH cheaper! You're paying for the MAC brand name. Sure it's good stuff, i use it myself (but i'm 30+), but when no one knows what you're wearing once it's on. Heck, you can even buy makeup at the dollar store! If you buy the other brands, you can buy more %26amp; play with the colors more to see what suits you. For someone you're age, i'd recommend sticking with a single color. And if you want your eyes to be the focus, go lighter or neutral with your lipstick or gloss.





Just remember that makeup should enhance your natural beauty, not distract from it. Keep it simple! And don't look at Amy Winehouse for eyeshadow techniques! Yikes!!!! ;o)
Buy the palette, as it's alot better to have more than one colour as you can blend and stuff. I find the best eyeshadow brushes are either MAC or Body shop!
