I have amethyst from freshlook, though they don't show up that different on my brown eyes. I think dark green and black/brown would go really well with them. I think black would be the best for mascara definitely. Green always pairs up nicely with purple. Definitely a darker green though, sort of a forest green. Otherwise, brown or black always looks good. Even purple would look nice with them!

MAC (makeup) eyeshadow palette owners!!?
im trying to get some ideas of what color eyeshadows to buy and put them in a palette. any suggestions?? im looking for neutrals, bold colors with shimmer, or without it doenst matter though.MAC (makeup) eyeshadow palette owners!!?

Sushi Flower-A very wearable matte hot pink that looks great for everyday
Juxt-A lime green with slight shimmers which is really light and cute

Aquadisiac-A bright ocean blue with silver shimmer that looks nice during the day
Pink Venus-My most wearable color a light pink with silver shimmer and it looks great by itself because it's so nice!

lips-- lip gloss. try clear with a little bit of sparkles. sometimes pink or light reds to add color to your lips.
Go to a make-up area in a department store and ask for some help like Kohl's or any of your mall departments stores thats what did in the begging and over time you develop you own style. Try stuff out too.Experiment !Some maybelline products at least in eyeshadows have little how to's on the back.

I will give you advice on both what makeup to buy, but how to apply it.
First, there are a few things that you will need to buy. Things with a star next to them are for beginners, and the things with a dash in front of them are for when you know how to apply makeup really well. Only buy the things with a dash next to them after you have mastered the ones with the stars. Along with your makeup, you need something to apply your makeup with, so I will list off some brushes that you should buy. Also, when ever you wear makeup, you should always take care of your face. I will also include a list of skin care products that you should have, how to use them, and what brands I recommend later on. With all the lists, stars mean for when you first start, and dashes mean for when you move on. And remember, this does not mean that you need to buy all of the starter things today, but its good to start off with one to all of what I recommend. Take it slowly, and practice each thing a few times before moving onto the next. I put my makeup on in a different order than what I will teach you how to do. After I鈥檓 done with the tips and tricks, I will recommend an order that has worked for me after many years. Another thing you need to remember, I will not teach anyone how to look like they are wearing large amounts of makeup. I do not promote looking like a model for eye makeup because unless it is a late night party or a rave, you do not need to look like that. I will try to teach you the best way possible to do your makeup to not only look natural but to enhance your natural beauty. With that said, lets get started!
First try putting foundation on. If there is one thing that you should start off wearing is foundation. It evens out your skin tone, hides any blemishes, and helps to disguise any small scars that you might have. First start off by putting a little bit of your foundation onto your hand. Next, dab your finger into the foundation and dot it all around your face. After you have little dots of the liquid over your face, rub it in gently. If you are too rough on your face you might get wrinkles later on in life, and that is not a good thing. Try and see how you look. If you realize that you put too much on, wash it off and start over. If you didn鈥檛 put enough, just dab some more onto your face. Just keep trying until you know what amount looks good on you. A special tip from me for applying foundation is to always push it towards the center of your face instead of out towards your hair line. It wont do anything now or for a few years, but after many many years of rubbing the foundation to the outside of your face it will give you wrinkles. Also, use your middle finger or your ring finger to smooth it on. The more gentle you are on your face now, the more you will thank yourself when you are older. A good foundation to wear is true match by L鈥橭real. Here is a link to Walgreen鈥檚 advertising the makeup. When you go in, ask someone to help you figure out what shade would be best for you if you need help. But L鈥橭real is pretty easy to figure out, and if you cant figure it out at all, buy a shade that is close enough. Even if it is a little off, as long as you don鈥檛 put too much on it wont make a huge difference. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor鈥?/a>
For all makeup (lipstick not included) you need to think of what skin type you have. Skin types fall into two major categories: yellow/orange, or blue/red. People with yellow/orange undertones tan instead of burn, and they do not have as sensitive skin as people with blue/red. People with blue/red undertones don鈥檛 tan, but burn to no end. They usually have more sensitive skin than those with yellow/orange. People with yellow/orange undertones look best with browns, yellows, peaches, things like that. Think of the most earthy colors that could be close to a natural skin color. That is what yellow/oranges look good in. For blue/reds, they look good in more pinkish tones. Pinks, reds, bright oranges, purples, berry colored things. Think of the natural colors of berries, exotic flowers, all bright. Those colors look good on people with blue/red undertones.
Next thing that I would suggest buying is mascara. This is the easiest thing to apply in my opinion. Just open up the bottle, and put it on your eyelashes. Start at the base and make a long swoop up. When you are done with your entire eyelash, gently run your fingers across the tips of the eyelash so that you break up any clumps and get rid of any little dots on the end. After mascara, go and buy some lip gloss or lipstick. This too is easy to apply, just put it on your lips and go on with life. I don鈥檛 really have tips except that you should always use a very moisturizing lipstick, otherwise it will take a lot more to get color. With lip gloss, just pick a much more dramatic color that you want, and put it on. If you look good in a light berry lipstick, pick a deep and dark berry lip gloss because your natural color will show through. Now lets talk about how to find your lip color. Remember what I told you about all your makeup except for lipstick? Well, the reason why is because you switch it when you are wearing lipstick. If you look at your face, most people with yellow/orange skin tones have more pink lips, and people with blue/red undertones have more brown lips. This is because your lipstick should make your lips pop out, and you need to switch the coloring just for this one thing. So if you have yellow/orange undertones, switch it up and pick a color out of the red/blue group. If you have red/blue undertones, try it the other way and go for those earthy browns. Of course, trust your own natural lip color to be your guide. If you have pinkish or red lips, even if you have red/blue undertones find something to enhance that. No matter what the books say on anything, trust your own face first when it comes to finding the right color.

Next thing I think you should buy is blush. When you put foundation on, sometimes it can cover up that natural pretty glow that you have. It doesn鈥檛 look terrible, but blush can put that glow back in your skin in no time. For this, you will need a blush brush. Buy a blush brush that is soft, but firm at the same time. It should be anywhere between a third and a half of your fist, and should poof out at the end. At first, any type of blush brush will work, but over time you will want softer and better quality ones. What you need to do for blush is if it is a pressed powder blush, rub the brush in the pressed powder, or if it is loose powder then just dip the brush in there. After that, you need to get off some of that blush or it will be too dramatic on your cheeks. Gently hit the base of the brush on your arm, just so that some of it gets off. With what is remaining, smile, and swipe (from the middle of your face to your hair line) on the bulges on your cheeks from smiling. Also, put a tiny tiny bit on your nose. If you have a wide nose, you can put a tiny tiny bit on the sides of your nose to create the appearance of a shadow. This will make it look slightly smaller. However, DO NOT OVER DO IT! When it comes with trying to apply any type of makeup, try with the smallest amount possible, and then gradually increase the amount until you find something that looks good on you.

Last thing for beginners is eye shadow. There is one and only one eye shadow that I will recommend to you, and if you go out and buy only one thing that I suggest, please let it be this. Almay makes amazing eye shadow to start out with, but to make it better鈥?They just came out a while ago with their new color trios. What that means is that they have eye shadows that have three different colors in them, and they are designed to fit your individual eye color. Good news people: Almay just took all the guess work out of buying eye shadow. Did you always want to bring out that blue? Do you have multicolored eyes with green the most prominent color but it just doesn鈥檛 seem that way? Do you think that your brown eyes are boring and could be so much better if only you could find the right eye makeup? If you ever thought anything like that, Almay has the product for you. They have three rectangles of colors in a row. The top goes from the crease to the brow, the middle goes on the crease, and the bottom goes on the eyelid. This is how you apply it. You take your eye shadow brush (any kind, but it should be about half the size of your pinky to about two thirds of your pinky), swipe it across the color, do the tapping thing like you did with the brush and apply it to the area that it tells you to. First, put the bottom color all over your eye lid. Second, take the top color and put it everywhere from your brow to the crease. Third, take the middle color and put it in between the crease. I need to emphasize the point I made earlier: eye makeup should enhance your eyes, not make you look like a clown. Again, start out as light as you can get and increase the depth if you feel the need to. Even the slightest amount will make your eyes pop.

Because this is intended for beginners, I will not go into detail on other areas of makeup. I will however tell you what you need to do to take care of your skin. Skin care products are more expensive than makeup, so I will make a list of things that you need, in the order that you should buy them. Taking care of your skin is so important because after years of makeup, it gets harder and harder to cover up your age. If you don鈥檛 want to look wrinkled by the time you are 40, you MUST start now! All of these get stars because although some may be more urgent than others, you should collect all of them within a year or so.
Skin care:
*Good cream cleanser that removes makeup
*Moisturizer
*Eye makeup remover
*Toner
*Exfoliating scrub
*Eye cream

My favorite piece of skin care is eye cream, but that鈥檚 because I have light skin, very dark hair and bright green eyes. So I spend more time making my eyes look better so that that鈥檚 what stands out on my face the most. When you spend as much time as I do on your eyes, you need something to keep them soft and bright. The other products that I have given you for skin care are good suggestions, but if you were to buy each and every type of skin care product that I recommended, but only one of them was going to be the exact product, I would recommend the eye cream by grassroots. It leaves your eyes with a slight warming feeling to calm them down, and you will wake up with your eyes soft and amazing the first night you use it, and it only gets better from then. Or to make it easier go to Wal-mart and get the Almay eyeshadow for blue eyes and just follow the instructions from there, you'll look glamorous!

According to what I have heard, you want you use the color eyeshadow opposite of your eyecolor. For instance, green eyes are supposed to wear purple, and blue eyes are supposed to use brown.
Try using the edge of an eyeshadow applicator with some dark puple eyeshadow as eyeliner and then just use mascarra and whoolaa. Best wishes

I will give you advice on both what makeup to buy, but how to apply it.
First, there are a few things that you will need to buy. Things with a star next to them are for beginners, and the things with a dash in front of them are for when you know how to apply makeup really well. Only buy the things with a dash next to them after you have mastered the ones with the stars. Along with your makeup, you need something to apply your makeup with, so I will list off some brushes that you should buy. Also, when ever you wear makeup, you should always take care of your face. I will also include a list of skin care products that you should have, how to use them, and what brands I recommend later on. With all the lists, stars mean for when you first start, and dashes mean for when you move on. And remember, this does not mean that you need to buy all of the starter things today, but its good to start off with one to all of what I recommend. Take it slowly, and practice each thing a few times before moving onto the next. I put my makeup on in a different order than what I will teach you how to do. After I鈥檓 done with the tips and tricks, I will recommend an order that has worked for me after many years. Another thing you need to remember, I will not teach anyone how to look like they are wearing large amounts of makeup. I do not promote looking like a model for eye makeup because unless it is a late night party or a rave, you do not need to look like that. I will try to teach you the best way possible to do your makeup to not only look natural but to enhance your natural beauty. With that said, lets get started!
First try putting foundation on. If there is one thing that you should start off wearing is foundation. It evens out your skin tone, hides any blemishes, and helps to disguise any small scars that you might have. First start off by putting a little bit of your foundation onto your hand. Next, dab your finger into the foundation and dot it all around your face. After you have little dots of the liquid over your face, rub it in gently. If you are too rough on your face you might get wrinkles later on in life, and that is not a good thing. Try and see how you look. If you realize that you put too much on, wash it off and start over. If you didn鈥檛 put enough, just dab some more onto your face. Just keep trying until you know what amount looks good on you. A special tip from me for applying foundation is to always push it towards the center of your face instead of out towards your hair line. It wont do anything now or for a few years, but after many many years of rubbing the foundation to the outside of your face it will give you wrinkles. Also, use your middle finger or your ring finger to smooth it on. The more gentle you are on your face now, the more you will thank yourself when you are older. A good foundation to wear is true match by L鈥橭real. Here is a link to Walgreen鈥檚 advertising the makeup. When you go in, ask someone to help you figure out what shade would be best for you if you need help. But L鈥橭real is pretty easy to figure out, and if you cant figure it out at all, buy a shade that is close enough. Even if it is a little off, as long as you don鈥檛 put too much on it wont make a huge difference. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor鈥?/a>
For all makeup (lipstick not included) you need to think of what skin type you have. Skin types fall into two major categories: yellow/orange, or blue/red. People with yellow/orange undertones tan instead of burn, and they do not have as sensitive skin as people with blue/red. People with blue/red undertones don鈥檛 tan, but burn to no end. They usually have more sensitive skin than those with yellow/orange. People with yellow/orange undertones look best with browns, yellows, peaches, things like that. Think of the most earthy colors that could be close to a natural skin color. That is what yellow/oranges look good in. For blue/reds, they look good in more pinkish tones. Pinks, reds, bright oranges, purples, berry colored things. Think of the natural colors of berries, exotic flowers, all bright. Those colors look good on people with blue/red undertones.
Next thing that I would suggest buying is mascara. This is the easiest thing to apply in my opinion. Just open up the bottle, and put it on your eyelashes. Start at the base and make a long swoop up. When you are done with your entire eyelash, gently run your fingers across the tips of the eyelash so that you break up any clumps and get rid of any little dots on the end. After mascara, go and buy some lip gloss or lipstick. This too is easy to apply, just put it on your lips and go on with life. I don鈥檛 really have tips except that you should always use a very moisturizing lipstick, otherwise it will take a lot more to get color. With lip gloss, just pick a much more dramatic color that you want, and put it on. If you look good in a light berry lipstick, pick a deep and dark berry lip gloss because your natural color will show through. Now lets talk about how to find your lip color. Remember what I told you about all your makeup except for lipstick? Well, the reason why is because you switch it when you are wearing lipstick. If you look at your face, most people with yellow/orange skin tones have more pink lips, and people with blue/red undertones have more brown lips. This is because your lipstick should make your lips pop out, and you need to switch the coloring just for this one thing. So if you have yellow/orange undertones, switch it up and pick a color out of the red/blue group. If you have red/blue undertones, try it the other way and go for those earthy browns. Of course, trust your own natural lip color to be your guide. If you have pinkish or red lips, even if you have red/blue undertones find something to enhance that. No matter what the books say on anything, trust your own face first when it comes to finding the right color.

Next thing I think you should buy is blush. When you put foundation on, sometimes it can cover up that natural pretty glow that you have. It doesn鈥檛 look terrible, but blush can put that glow back in your skin in no time. For this, you will need a blush brush. Buy a blush brush that is soft, but firm at the same time. It should be anywhere between a third and a half of your fist, and should poof out at the end. At first, any type of blush brush will work, but over time you will want softer and better quality ones. What you need to do for blush is if it is a pressed powder blush, rub the brush in the pressed powder, or if it is loose powder then just dip the brush in there. After that, you need to get off some of that blush or it will be too dramatic on your cheeks. Gently hit the base of the brush on your arm, just so that some of it gets off. With what is remaining, smile, and swipe (from the middle of your face to your hair line) on the bulges on your cheeks from smiling. Also, put a tiny tiny bit on your nose. If you have a wide nose, you can put a tiny tiny bit on the sides of your nose to create the appearance of a shadow. This will make it look slightly smaller. However, DO NOT OVER DO IT! When it comes with trying to apply any type of makeup, try with the smallest amount possible, and then gradually increase the amount until you find something that looks good on you.

Last thing for beginners is eye shadow. There is one and only one eye shadow that I will recommend to you, and if you go out and buy only one thing that I suggest, please let it be this. Almay makes amazing eye shadow to start out with, but to make it better鈥?They just came out a while ago with their new color trios. What that means is that they have eye shadows that have three different colors in them, and they are designed to fit your individual eye color. Good news people: Almay just took all the guess work out of buying eye shadow. Did you always want to bring out that blue? Do you have multicolored eyes with green the most prominent color but it just doesn鈥檛 seem that way? Do you think that your brown eyes are boring and could be so much better if only you could find the right eye makeup? If you ever thought anything like that, Almay has the product for you. They have three rectangles of colors in a row. The top goes from the crease to the brow, the middle goes on the crease, and the bottom goes on the eyelid. This is how you apply it. You take your eye shadow brush (any kind, but it should be about half the size of your pinky to about two thirds of your pinky), swipe it across the color, do the tapping thing like you did with the brush and apply it to the area that it tells you to. First, put the bottom color all over your eye lid. Second, take the top color and put it everywhere from your brow to the crease. Third, take the middle color and put it in between the crease. I need to emphasize the point I made earlier: eye makeup should enhance your eyes, not make you look like a clown. Again, start out as light as you can get and increase the depth if you feel the need to. Even the slightest amount will make your eyes pop.

Because this is intended for beginners, I will not go into detail on other areas of makeup. I will however tell you what you need to do to take care of your skin. Skin care products are more expensive than makeup, so I will make a list of things that you need, in the order that you should buy them. Taking care of your skin is so important because after years of makeup, it gets harder and harder to cover up your age. If you don鈥檛 want to look wrinkled by the time you are 40, you MUST start now! All of these get stars because although some may be more urgent than others, you should collect all of them within a year or so.

*Moisturizer
*Eye makeup remover
*Toner
*Exfoliating scrub

My favorite piece of skin care is eye cream, but that鈥檚 because I have light skin, very dark hair and bright green eyes. I've always prefered natural looking make-up or no make up. Everytime my ex wore make up and it was noticable I asked her why she had so much on or any at all, and I thought she looked beautful without it. Then I would get yelled at.

well in my opinion it matters if you know how to put on the makeup. because you get different textures and looks by the way you hold the brush.
i think for getting a true color you should use mac makeup brushes, either one is good. doesnt matter. just make sure you get like eyeshadow brushes for eyeshadow. lol
you can get like cheaper ones that are still pretty good. you can get them at like target or like CVS. its like 3-10 dollars.

A thin brush for liquid eyeliner
well in my opinion it matters if you know how to put on the makeup. because you get different textures and looks by the way you hold the brush.
i think for getting a true color you should use mac makeup brushes, either one is good. doesnt matter. just make sure you get like eyeshadow brushes for eyeshadow. lol
you can get like cheaper ones that are still pretty good. you can get them at like target or like CVS. its like 3-10 dollars.

ELF Studio line has great brushes for only $3 each. I would recommend the smudge brush, the contouring brush, the eye shadow brush and the small precision brush. I did the smokey look with this brushes and it look awesome!

Eyeshadow or Makeup remover causing eye reaction??? ?
I bought a 120 eyeshadow palette, and I'm almost using a new kind eye makeup remover recently, and when I wake up, my eyelids are swollen. Could it be the new eyeshadow, or could it be the new eye makeup remover? Its bugging me because my eyelids are also getting slightly wrinkly, and I'm only 16! I must honestly say they are your celebrity look alikes. Brown, grey, or blue eyeliner would work With a brown or navy blue or smoke shade for the smoky eye look. Red or marron lip liner with a red or dark red lip stick and a dark rose blush. Dark colors work best on you since you're an olive completion and why not add HEAT to the season. If you want to go natural get a naked or peach lipstick with a bark brown lip liner and blend it in and then use a peach blush or a rose blush with grey or brown eyeliner and a medium brown shadow. This will give you an awake and warm look. Both will work with you. You just need to work with it. Work it girl!!!!!!!!!I want to learn what eyeshadow or makeup best looks on me? pic included?
i would say a bronze on the lids but a peach by the brow and in the courners
you really do look like those celebs. i think medium to darker purples and maybe a thin strip of green for your eyeshadow. black mascara, and maybe a little bit of black eyeliner....but dont overdo the eyeliner...you'll turn out looking like a raccoon if you do.............
another suggestion it try looking at the make up that the celebs wear......mostly the ones you look like. you may get some ideas from them too!!!

You can...but I would be sure that the eyeliner and mascara are hypoallergenic. Clinique and Almay are two good brands for that. Also, be sure that you pay attention to the experation dates for eyeliner and mascara. I think it's 3 months on mascara and 6 months on eyeliner. (But you may want to double check that on the web). As for the eyeshadow, you should be good to go on that, however try to invest in some that won't flake off. (It has been my experience that some cheap eyeshadow tends to flake more than more expensive ones).

Personally, I think for brown eyes it looks nicer with either dark eyeliner and with a smokey black look on your eyes.. or you could curl your eyelashes and put a little mascara on them to give a more natural look which makes your eyes stand out. Hope this helps:).
purples, pinks, blacks, browns basically just about any color, Physician's formula has palettes of eyeshadows for brown eyes, and almay also has their i intense line for brown eyes
white, yellow and gold eyeshadows make em stand outt ;]

The best thing about having brown eyes is
you can wear alot of black eyeliner and it'll look normal :]

Personally, I think for brown eyes it looks nicer with either dark eyeliner and with a smokey black look on your eyes.. or you could curl your eyelashes and put a little mascara on them to give a more natural look which makes your eyes stand out. Hope this helps:).

Well I agree with everyone else, you look great how you are and you don't need to wear any makeup.
If you really want to wear eyeshadow I would deff. go with a neutral base color (maybe with a little bit of shine to it) and a ivory colored shiney eyeshadow on the top of the eyelid closest to the eyebrow. If you want to step it up a bit you could also take a chocolate brown color and put in on your eyelid in the crease along with the 1st two colors that I mentioned. This will make your eyes stand out dramaticaly and look great. Also, a plum color would look great on you either in the crease or on the eyelid itself along with an ivory color under the eyebrow.

There are not many choices other than shadows and liners. My suggestion is that you should give lighter shade of shadows another chance. Use silver or gold or very light bronze shadow and you will love them-

yes, with blue eyes, you want to line them with a dark brown liner, creamy neutral base color shadow (like a taupe) and then a darker shade of brown in the crease. keep the shadows lightly applied, and keep the liner intense. Use plenty of mascara to define and finish the look of your eyes and make the blue really pop. Also, with a look like this, you want to have just a hint of blush- like a soft peachy color should do it- and nude lips. I would just line the lips with a nude color liner and then apply a sheer lip gloss (a little shimmer is cute, too, if that's what you like). i wouldn't get an extremely expensive brand of mascara because they go bad in a few months and most of the drugstore brands are just as good. i like maybelline lash discovery,maybelline unstoppable,and covergirl lashexact. if you want to go natural you can get a clear mascara like maybelline great lash in clear. another good one is pout wet lash(i splurged, you have to get this at sephora) which also conditions your lashes.
Blush:
for blush get covergirl cheekers in rose silk or blissglows pink slip. my favorite is benefit dandelion, which is a blush but you can put it all over your face for a nice, healthy glow. it is one of my absolute favorite cosmetics!
Lipgloss:
my favorite!l'oreal colour juice in watermelon crush and the color of hope are soooo good. they smell really good too. my other favorites are jane iredale lipgloss in mulberry, lancome juicy tubes in daiquiri, urban decay lube in a tube in NYC, and of course liquid lipsmacker in watermelon and strawberry kiwi.

throw in some hot false lashes and you have yourself a seductress look to kill!
And if you decide to go with intense eyes like that you can still show off your beautiful lips with a nude gloss.
Just remember when your going out to use as many products that are waterproof as you can so that your makeup will not run down your face and it will be sure to stay put longer

CoverGirl has good foundations, also maybelline's dream mousse has an amazing feel and coverage. For pale skin tones, bare escentuals is expensive, but perfect for all-natural, sheer coverage.
I recommend going to sephora and asking for a makeover, they can find a foundation that matches your skin tone
As for eyeliner,
I recommend urban decay; their eyeliners provide great color, and stay on all day. you can find them at sephora.

CoverGirl has good foundations, also maybelline's dream mousse has an amazing feel and coverage. For pale skin tones, bare escentuals is expensive, but perfect for all-natural, sheer coverage.
I recommend going to sephora and asking for a makeover, they can find a foundation that matches your skin tone
As for eyeliner,

How come whenever i put eyeshadow on i look overly made up, even though i have no makeup on but that?
you are probably putting on a shade that is too light. either that, or your not used to it. for darker skin, its hard to look too made up unless you are wearing too light of makeup, which makes you look like a clown.How come whenever i put eyeshadow on i look overly made up, even though i have no makeup on but that?
If eyeshadow is the ONLY product you wear, I think you need to balance it out a little makeup in other areas. For example, if you use lip color or gloss, it's going to make your eyeshadow look prettier. You should also use a bit of other eye makeup so that the shadow doesn't ';stand out.'; A nice coat of mascara, a little eyeliner - it'll make a difference.
You don't have to be made up like a clown. Different products will work together to present a balanced, put-together look.
Have you thought of visiting a cosmetics counter for some advice? It's free, and often they'll give you samples. You might find some shades that are flattering to your skin tone. If the products are too pricey, as department store cosmetics tend to be, look for similar shades in a less expensive product. Some drugstore products are just as good as their pricier counterparts. because your skin color is darker, any color swill show up on your skin, you lucky girl!! Lots of pple would love that u know..It'll definitely bring out your eyes.
If you want a softer look, I suggest toning down the color. Look for colors that are darker and warmer - bronze, espresso brown color, dark purple/plum.
But you shdnt be worried about that. Instead, play up those colors! =)
Perhaps you are using a color that does not suit your eyes or skin color. Or you blend it all wrong. Try using refreshing colors. Or light colors. :) But it really depends on your skin color. But you didnt state it so.. yeah. :)

I'd say light brown eye shadow to the crease then darker shading towards the edge. Peachy coloured blush neutrally tinted or light pink/brown lips.
If you want to go for a subtle colour i'd suggest a pearly green eye shadow up to the crease, it looks really good on light complexion and use a lot of eye liner +pink lips and cheeks!
light colored lip sticks (natural pinks) , and eyeliner. To enhance your look, put on a little brown eyeshadow.
However, you can apply any color for the eyeshadow but work it to look natural. Natural is always the best option.

I'd say light brown eye shadow to the crease then darker shading towards the edge. Peachy coloured blush neutrally tinted or light pink/brown lips.
If you want to go for a subtle colour i'd suggest a pearly green eye shadow up to the crease, it looks really good on light complexion and use a lot of eye liner +pink lips and cheeks!
light colored lip sticks (natural pinks) , and eyeliner. To enhance your look, put on a little brown eyeshadow.
However, you can apply any color for the eyeshadow but work it to look natural. Natural is always the best option.

Purple looks AWESOME on green eyes....with a light purple, you can even wear it to work. Also, go to Sephora's and check out POP Beauty's Green Eyes kit.....I got it for my mom for Christmas and it really does make green eyes look awesome. Earthtones like sparkly brown or a dusty purple really make green eyes stand out. If your feeling in a more wild mood, I personally think neon colors look good on everybody!

Kms mineral essentials has a fabulous kit called ';The Eyes Have it';. Three shades are put together to go with brown, blue, hazel, and green eyes. You also have the option of getting the eye primer to go with it. I just got the kit for hazel eyes. I love it!

I have green eyes and I love plum eyeshadow or eyeliner (I would imagine any thing in the lavender/purple families would work). I also use soft browns %26amp; highlight the crease with a darker brown. But plum with black mascara really makes my eyes stand out.

An Olive color will go good with your green eyes. You may also want to try warm brown colors. And if you want to make it pop out, wear like dark red/green lipstick!
