';what brand of makeup has eye enhancing color eyeshadow';?

i need the brand and where i can buy the stuff and a website maybe';what brand of makeup has eye enhancing color eyeshadow';?
Physician's Formula: Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow %26amp; Liner

http://www.physiciansformula.com/en-us/p鈥?/a>

i bought mine at target! that's the only one I know and it's so easy to use bc it tells you which one to use for your eye color';what brand of makeup has eye enhancing color eyeshadow';?
Almay and Physicians Formula both have them, I think Covergirl does too or else they will soon [we got tags in for it at work, but we don't have the actual product yet]. You can buy it at pretty much any store that sells makeup :-]
MAC eyeshadows, and pigments in particular are sooooooooooooo fabulous.

Hope that helped.

Good Luck.

Good Bye.
Almay does, and I heard it's amazing !

I AM GOING DO DRESS UP LIKE WITCH CAN YOU SUGGEST ME MAKEUP LIKE COLOUR OF NAILPOLISH, LIPSTICK EYESHADOW?

I WNT TO LOOK WICKED AND SEXYI AM GOING DO DRESS UP LIKE WITCH CAN YOU SUGGEST ME MAKEUP LIKE COLOUR OF NAILPOLISH, LIPSTICK EYESHADOW?
Dark nail polish such as red, black or deep purple. Depending on your skin tone you can use deep eyeshadow colors too, but maybe you can stick to lighter purples, which always look sexy AND witchy. Try glitter eyeshadow for maximum effect.

Wear dark, deep colored lipstick. Deep red is perfect, or a good shade of purple as long as it suits you. Stick to the same palette of colors; purple, red, black....but all in different shades.I AM GOING DO DRESS UP LIKE WITCH CAN YOU SUGGEST ME MAKEUP LIKE COLOUR OF NAILPOLISH, LIPSTICK EYESHADOW?
bright colours are really in for eyes right now so you be really experimental. if you've got darker eyes you can get away with more dramatic colours generally like oranges and yellow but it's best to try out a few different colours and find what works best for you. as a rule nearly all eye colours and skin tones can get away with an emerald green. i would really go all out mixing a few colours but if you're scared it's best to start with a coloured glitter liner to line your eyes with. as a rule it is probably best to keep everything else pretty neutural so i'd stick with a nude lipstick and deffinetly don't use blusher. as for nails i'd say it depends on your outfit. if you've got a fairly neutural or plain outfit you can get away with an extra clashing colour on your nails otherwise i'd stick with sophisticated black, brown or nude.. hope i've helped :) xoxo
sure

For eyes, go with dramatic smokey eyes (just youtube for tutorials)

with lots of mascara and black eyeliner, you could also use false eyelashes to look MORE dramatic.

For lips, go with a really dark colour, like red but almost black.

Try and get a similar colour for your nails, you could paint fake nails if you don't have long nails.
Gee I know witches that wear jeans and T-Shirts, go barefooted and no make-up. But I digress and forget who is on this site. Dark colors are what you want. Deep reds, not bright, for lips and nails. Dark blue or green for eyes, with liner.

Try eyeshadow quads by revlon. They have shades quad sets like sandstorm and neutral khaki. The color are amazing and last for a long time. Before apply the eyeshadow try using an eyeprime or concealer. It makes the shadow last longer.

  • Makeup on chalazion eyeshadow?

school is starting and i have a chalazion about the width of a small pea but not very stuck out it has went down some but even though im dark/medium complected you can still see redness could i put a little skin colored eyeshadow on top of it?Makeup on chalazion eyeshadow?
Yes you can, it won't hurt it.Makeup on chalazion eyeshadow?
did you know that one cause for this (chalazion) is the use of not removing eye makeup...the oil from the makeup gathers in the glands(tarsal gland)and causing it to get inflamed.

so i'd say just leave it alone, it won't be as embarrassing as you thought.

    Eyeshadow, and other makeup questions?

I'm almost 14, and I have turquoise eyes, white (but not pale) skin, and dirty blond hair. What colour of eyeshadow would look good with my eyes. Also, what makeup brands should I not use. I know that NYC is a very cheap brand, but what other ones are bad for your skin, or use animal testing? What is better to wear lip gloss, or chapstick? Lol, sorry for all the questions, but here's another one. What could I do to make my eyes pop? Because right now, I wear glasses, and my face is sort of plain, and people say my eyes and hair are my best features, so how do I make my eyes stand out, and show how beautiful they really are? Thanks sooo much!Eyeshadow, and other makeup questions?
Use peach, melon and bronze coloured eye shadows. You could also try brown eyeliner on the upper lash line to make your eyes pop.

I personally love Cover Girl makeup - it's inexpensive, and very good quality. It's great for starting out.

Hope this helps!Eyeshadow, and other makeup questions?
First of all, don't wear eyeshadow the same color as you eyes, because it will just make them blend in more, and the same thing for eyeliner, etc. I would suggest maybe a light brown color, or maybe even something pink.

I prefer chapstick because it makes your lips very soft, and also makes them shiny, so it looks like you are wearing lip gloss, but its actually helping your lips, as opposed to covering them with junky chemicals.

These companies are against animal testing:

    - Aveda

    - Avon

    - Clinique

    - Estee Lauder

    - Nordtsrom cosmetics

    Hope I helped! (:
look for eye makeup in gray, violet, taupe, purple, and deep blue. Many have found using a dark shade of blue will actually bring out the more natural blue tones in your eyes; giving you a brighter and more vibrant look.

    Drugstore Suggestions:

    1. Violets and Purples: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers, Trio Eye shadow, Dance Party #125, ~$5.00

    2. Gray and Deep Blue: Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow, Sultry Smoke #342, ~$7.00

    3. Taupe: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Single Eye Shadow, Tapestry Taupe #760, ~$4.00
use light browny, almost bronzy eye shadow cause that colour always brings out blue eyes a lot, try maybe using pencil eye liner on the inside of your eyes, to make the colour stand out more, mascara maybe? not too much so it looks clumped, just very natural looking!
id say wear light pink eyeshadow, and no eyeliner. thats what make eyes really pop.the brand of eyeshadow i use is maybelline new york. you can get really pretty colors from that brand
ok, I can answer some of your questions, okay?

Q: What color of eye shadow would look good with my eyes?

A: I think a darker color like brown or tan would work, not pink or blue, or purple, or black.

Q: What is better to wear lip gloss, or chapstick?

A: Well...chapstick won't give you a lot of shine, so I think a small amount of lip gloss. No sparkles.

Q: What could I do to make my eyes pop?

A: Eye liner could help, but don't put TOO much on, okay? The darker eye shadow will help too. Maybe mascara could help?

Hope it helps and Happy Holidays! ^.^

Makeup tips? Blue Jeans, red top. What make up should i wear: eyeshadow colour etc?

since you are considering your clothing with your makeup, that's classy. you could go Willy nillly, but classy, to me would be to bring the colours together. Jeans and red mixed would = a plumish kind of shadow. a little under the eye and however you do on top. A little liner-brown - above that, under the eye and above the eye would make your eyes pop. I'd use the plumish to go over the eye socket bone and something lighter over the rest of the lid, under the eye socket bone.If you're going to put it on a little heavy so the colours bring the clothes and the eyes all together in one looking at you, the Rule is, go very light on the lips. an almost nude.

heavy on the eyes, light on the lips/light on the eyes, heavy on the lips. I wouldn't go heavy on the lips though with a red top! You'll be gorgeous! Don't forget the 'eye-batting' mascara!Makeup tips? Blue Jeans, red top. What make up should i wear: eyeshadow colour etc?
Are your eyes brown? If so do a gold eyeshadow after doing a brown liner (or powder lining the top lid) on the uper lid, do a very light colour under the brow and on the eye lid, for some highlighting, after of course using foundation. A light gloss, curled lashes and mascara should do it!

for some makeup tips you should check out this girl on youtube!

    http://www.youtube.com/user/kandeejohnso鈥?/a>

    shes the best

best of luck! have fun!Makeup tips? Blue Jeans, red top. What make up should i wear: eyeshadow colour etc?
Well, for your eyes, I'd go with a really rich dark brown, maybe even with a little red or gold hints in it. And since your shirt is red, I wouldn't go too dramatic with your lips. Just wear a clear gloss, and maybe a contoured blush. Good luck!
Go dramatic! Shimmery silver eyeshadow over the lid. dark grey in the crease and black shadow on the outer V corner :]] apply eyeliner and mascara and you will look hott! :]]
Eyeliner, Mascara, Maybe a red, brown, or golden eye shadow?
natual pink or light blue eyeshadow.
a very light and natural pink. it will look really cute, innocent and sexy without distorting your outfit

What kind of makeup should i wear. I want to know what kind of eyeshadow i wear. I have fair skin and hazel

blue green eyes. Im only 13 so i want something that will not be to mature. Please help me. my mom said if i can get good answers tlhats the kind of makeup she will let me wearWhat kind of makeup should i wear. I want to know what kind of eyeshadow i wear. I have fair skin and hazel
Start with basics: Foundation, Mascara, Eyeliner, Eye-shadow, Lipgloss

    Foundation:

If your skin is dry, don't use a powder. It will cake on your face. Instead, go for a liquid. In general, liquids are great and you can get a generally inexpensive one at your superstore. I use Almay Trueblend just because I have a strange skin tone and it completely matches my skin. Look around the store, test out different companies and find one you like best and that matches your skin tone.

Be careful applying your foundation because you don't want a make-up line between your foundation and your actual skin tone. Foundation is good to smooth out your skin tone.

    Mascara:

Maybelline is probably the best mascara company if your on a budget. It really depends if you want longer lashes, thicker lashes or both. It also depends on what type of brush you want to use as well. The new fad is plastic-y bristles that supposedly ';get each lash';. Mascara defines your eyes and makes them POP! Just don't use too much. And don't use an eyelash curler because it can pull them out.

    Eyeliner:

It's not necessary and since your 13, I'd wait for a year or so. If you do want eyeliner, buy it in BROWN! It's more natural. Pencils are good for general use, but they can smudge. If you use a liquid, remember that they can sting if you get it in your eye and you need a steady hand to apply it.

    Eye-shadow:

Most 13 year olds I've met don't wear eye-shadow. If you do want some, get it according to your eye-color. Purple colored eye-shadow is the best for hazel eyes. Make it dark on the outside and then lighter as it goes closer to the centre of your lid.

    Lipgloss:

This is probably the best part of being a girl. Pinks, purples, clear, gold. Pick your favorite. Test them on your hand first. If you don't want something sticky, you'll notice once it hits your skin.

    Anything Else?:

I think the first make-up that I ever wore was concealer. If you have dark under eye circles, it can make them look less visible.

Just take your time with make-up. Learn how to use it and ALWAYS wash it off every night. Test stuff out, see what you like, and then go have fun! :DWhat kind of makeup should i wear. I want to know what kind of eyeshadow i wear. I have fair skin and hazel
go with earthy tones on a regular basis, it looks natural and tasteful, but every once and a while,(usually if you have a fun outfit or are ready for a change) go with a brighter colour, like a blue or green (it would go nicely with your eyes) but remember not to go overboard... another good thing to do would be buy the (covergirl?) line called ';play up the blue'; and it will look really nice and it comes with instructions for it to look really nice
im 14 and i wear foundation/ bronzer and eye liner a little bit of eye shadow which is like a bronze color and some blush :)
you should wear a mascara, and a little bit of blush. the eyeshadow for your eyes would be somehting light!
I used to be a firm user of BareMinerals foundation (which is absolutely amazing, btw), but today, I just went out looking for a cheap replacement at the drugstore since I ran out. I wasn't expecting anything near BareMinerals, but I bought something by Maybelline called 'Mineral Power Powder Foundation'. Wow. It is absolutely amazing, and makes my skin look and feel just like BareMinerals did. It covers everything, goes on smoothly, and even comes with about the same amount for only $8.50. However, it will work a lot better with a different brush of better quality, so I'd recommend buying one to suit your needs. A concealer brush and a puffy face brush will work well. Read the directions on how to apply it, and you will be amazed at how your skin looks and feels when you put it on. It also blends perfectly so that it is totally untraceable, and stays on all day.

For your eyes, I'd suggest using a black mascara on the top lashes only, and you can curl them with an eyelash curler beforehand if you'd like your eyes to appear more open. As for gloss, try a light pink one line Neutrogena Moistureshine gloss in 'groove'. It's girly and looks great on just about everyone. Just remember, less is more, and you never want to hide who you are naturally with something artificial. Oh, and for a shadow (you really don't need one, it's just more makeup), but I'd suggest a light gold or champagne shade with shimmer. Very pretty.
I would go with Urban Decay make up. they have really good quality shadows and great color for dramatic and stuttle looks. but make sure you stay away from NYC stuff. their eyeliner is bad quality and not water proof. plus Urban Decay does'nt test on animals =]

Eye makeup question - primer, eyeshadow, and liner.

If I apply primer to my eyelids and then my eyeshadow, but then I want to apply eyeliner to my upper lid will the eyeliner adhere properly or by the end of the day will I be wearing it higher than where I applied it?

Oh, I really don't want to experiment with this because primer is so costly and I don't want to waste it.

Also...do I have to wait for the primer to dry or do I just start right a way with putting the shadow on?Eye makeup question - primer, eyeshadow, and liner.
If you use Urban Decay Primer Potion, you shouldn't have any problem with the eyeliner ';wearing'; anywhere other than exactly where you applied it, even if you apply it over shadow. But yes, I would highly recommend waiting for the primer to dry completely. What I usually do is apply my foundation, then apply my eyeshadow primer. While waiting for that to dry, I put on my blush and lipstick, then go back and do my shadow, as it's usually been long enough for the primer to ';set'; properly.

FYI - I tend to use Revlon Wet/Dry liner (works beautifully) or the gel liner by MAC (Blacktrack). I can't guarantee that you'll have perfect results with anything other than these, though UDPP really is a God send.Eye makeup question - primer, eyeshadow, and liner.
eyeliner and eyeshadow goes on best when the base (your eyelid) is completely bare. so try not putting primer on. your eyeliner will stay on longer and so will your eyeshadow.

but if your not completely sold then you can buy a special primer just for the eyelids called 'eyeshadow primer potion' it gives you eyeshadow that lasts, more vibrant and lasting color, and absolutely NO creasing.

you to lids before shadow application. it dries down instantly (and invisibly), and creates smooth lids that are basically eyeshadow magnets

no it should not appear anywhere else then where you applied it

If you are looking to invest in a great primer then i really would suggest urban decay's primer potion!
if you put eyeliner on the top eyelid it usually doesn't mess up. thats how i do it:D

    Eyeliner: Like normal

Mascara: If you want think bold then add a swatch of it on your top lashes and get another mascara for bottom lashes. If you want a suttel look just be simple and get Covergirl Eyelights.

Blush: SMILE BIG. Add like normal or if you want do a between cheek bone and ear like blush tone.Makeup with gold eyeshadow?
Just do your eyeliner how you'd normally do it, but if you want something else because of christmas, you can go for a winged look.

Mascara- black mascara pops when it's over gold eyeshadow, so I suggest applying first 2 coats of volumizing mascara and then a lengthening one.

Blush- to match with your eyes and to make sure you don't look like a clown, stay away from pink %26amp; dark pink! Go for a sparkly tannish brown bronzer or blush.
Log on to makeupgeek.com she has numerous tutorials.

Also log on to youtube and if there is a particular colour you want to experiment with do a search . ie ';gold eyeshadow'; or ';gold smokey eyes'; for example; youtube will display numerous tutorials using gold eyeshadow.

Which are the best makeup products that won't ruin your skin when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner?

also where do you buy themWhich are the best makeup products that won't ruin your skin when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner?
well no eyeshadow or eyeliner will ruin your skin. but if you want something more natural and okay for your skin i recommend mineral makeup, which is found everywhere even MAC.

but stuff like foundation and powder is bad for your skin but even then if you wash it off every night thoroughly you'll be fine :]Which are the best makeup products that won't ruin your skin when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner?
Well if you want something cheaper Almay is really natural and they have cute eyeshadow packs for different color eyes to make them look their best but if you shop department store make up then Clinique is really great and 100% hypoallergenic so it's way better for your eyes and easy to remove when washing your face! =)

    Makeup tips?eyeshadow/mascara?

hey so after i apply my eyeshadow i put on heaps(and i mean heaps) of mascara, but the thing is i always get mascara on my eyelids?

and it ruins my eye makeup(i can spend up to an hour doing it so it pisses me off :/)

then i go over the mascara on my eyelids with more eyeshadow and it falls on my lashes %26gt;:(

    so i have to repeat.

how can i prevent getting mascara on my eyes?:P

    thanks!:DDDD

    xMakeup tips?eyeshadow/mascara?
Well, in my opinion - people shouldn't use heaps and heaps of mascara. You just need 2 coats of voluminizing mascara to have the same effect. But, that's not what your asking, so to answer your question:

Use an index card cut in half to shield your eyelid. If you are right handed, hold the index card with your left hand and apply the mascara with your right hand. And vise versa for left handers.

Best of luck to you!Makeup tips?eyeshadow/mascara?
I'm pretty sure you only need one layer of mascara. Too much makes it look fake and bulky, and probably far less durable. It doesn't require a lot of mascara to make your eyelashes look good. Maybe use a curler to make them look longer, and I also recommend separating your eyelashes with tweezers or a toothpick. Really, if you want bold lashes, buy fake ones or get extensions or something. Usually I stick with waterproof, not that it will help your situation... Just do it carefully, and don't overdo it.
You slightly close the lid of your eye, and apply the mascara to your lashes in movements that go up. Don't apply when your eye is right open or it will smudge to your eyelid. And do it slowly and carefully.
apply your shadow and then put a tissue over your eyelid and hold it there so anything that would normally have gone onto your eyelid will go on the tissue

and heaps of mascara can look good on somepeople

    hope i helped x
ya i once got mascara on my skin too you should use less mascara and be REALLY carefull when your putting it on. try to wash it off if you get it on your skin and try again. or maybe have someone else put on your eyeshadow and mascara.
I had the same problem, so what i do now is put on the mascara and if i get any on my eyelid i use a cotton bud to get it off, then i apply the eyeshadow (:
Tilt your head back when your putting on your mascra

But let it dry intill you put another coat on

    :)

Try not to push your eye lashes back when your putting it on
Don't put on so much mascara. It will make it seem like you are trying a bit too hard on trying to look like someone your not. Less is better. Just put on 2 coats on mascara and you will be fine.
    visit the following url
Use less mascara and a good eyeliner - it gives the same effect
POD Says Natural Beauty Is The Key Hahahahaha
If its that bad of a problem. Then just do your mascara first then aply your eye shadow.

What makeup product is best for an african women. and what clour of eyeshadow can also be recommended?

i think silver and gold colors will stand out on a dark skin and it will not make it look so tacky. instead, u will look beautiful and mature.

*one tip, too much make-up doesnt look good in anyone, it makes them look fake. What makeup product is best for an african women. and what clour of eyeshadow can also be recommended?
It depends on skin tone. Some african women have a lot of blue tones in the skin others have more olive. Those with blue skin tones will probably look best in cool colors. Those with olive skin tones will look best in warm colors. Experiment to find out which you are. All the best. What makeup product is best for an african women. and what clour of eyeshadow can also be recommended?

Since your dress is green going with another similar color of eyeshadow would be too much, i think you should start with a line of black eyeliner on the top and bottom lid, then smudge them a bit, then a grey for your whole upper eye and in the crease try a really dark brown, and then use a lighter grey for your arch and to blend the colors together. This should create a smoky eye effect, also use the tip of your eyeshadow applicator to put some light greay on your bottom lid. Finish off with lots of mascara! Good Luck!Would green eyeshadow look bad w/ big blue eyes? how should i do my eye makeup?
a goldish bronze. just a light sweep of it and mascara.
First of all, olive green isn't particularly my favorite color. However, I think a mixture light blue and green would look really cute with the dress.
Sometimes matching isn't the best route. To make your eyes pop use contrasting colors. ie... blue use warm tones... brown wear cool tones.
I think that the best thing you can do is mix together a variety of browns. brown looks good with green and blue.

    Estee Lauder makeup help..eyeshadow?

what color eyeshadow would look best with a striped pink and white sundress? besides pink?Estee Lauder makeup help..eyeshadow?
    Ivory.

Blend it in with the pink.

A lavander would be nice, too. Especially if your in the shade more than not. Adds a depth to your eyes.Estee Lauder makeup help..eyeshadow?
Matching eyeshadow to your outfit can be tacky, especially trying to do it with pastels like pink, light blue, lavender, etc. Try something that is more contrasting like silver with a touch of black eyeliner. If you must wear pink, make it more of a mauve and pair it with taupe. That way, you have contrast to your face and you dont look like you fell into a vat of pink stuff.

    Makeup ideas with this eyeshadow?

I just got this eyeshadow trio:

    https://www.wegmans.com/prodimg/581/200/鈥?/a>

I tried it out and it was pretty, but what are some really pretty ideas that I could do with it?

I also got some of my regular pencil liner and liquid liner, so anybody have any ideas?Makeup ideas with this eyeshadow?
For a simple look try the white under your brow bone as a highlighter as well as putting it in the inner corner of your eye. The pink all over your lid and then use the liquid liner just on the top lid going from thin (from the inner corner) to thicker (on the outer corner).

Another look you could use the white as a highlighter like above and the pink all over the lid, then apply the dark brown on the outside corner smudging it and then carefully smudge it along your lower lashes you create a pretty smoky look.Makeup ideas with this eyeshadow?
Put the lightest shade all over. Your eyelids. Then take the medium color and put it on the outside 2/3 of the lid. Put the dar color in the crease and the lightest one under your eyes brow. Make sure to blend them well.

Another idea is to put the medium or dark color on the lids, the dark in the crease and the light under the brow.
Use a flat shader brush (MAC 239) and gently pat on the middle color [kind of a moca?] onto your lid. Then take a pointed crease brush (like a MAC 224) and blend the darkest color through your crease, in windshield wiper motions. Use the lightest white color as a highlite. Meaning, flip the flat shader brush and using that side, gently pat on the white under your brow-bone above the dark brown in your crease.

You can use the pencil and liquid liner several ways.

For a natural everyday look, take the pencil liner and put it on your waterline (if you want to) and the liquid and make a thin line on your top lid.

Glam it up a bit: Make a dramatic wing on the end of the line on the top of your lash line and use the pencil for the waterline.

Smokey eyes: Thin line that increases height at the end of your lid with waterline lined with the pencil AND the pencil underneath smudged (finger, q-tip whatever).

Good luck I hope that helps!

Also, there may be some helpful youtube tutorials with this trio :)
    for a natural, simpler look:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4Gr0lA1g鈥?/a>

or if you want a more dramatic look:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAT5XQnEz鈥?/a>

and might i add, you dont need to use as many colors as she uses, as long as you blend it enough.

and you can tone it down, add to it, morph it any way you want.

but these are great i think.

  • Makeup-- applying eyeshadow?

Do you know any good websites where I go to learn how to apply eyeshadow...using two different shades...light in the middle darker in the crease or vise versa? please help..thanksMakeup-- applying eyeshadow?
Hey, Lil Miz Seza here I have a few good clips off youtube that show you how to apply make up they are great. Watch them now. Hope they help you. Pleaz vote me best never have be voted before :o(

Oh well, Lil Miz Seza :o)Makeup-- applying eyeshadow?
Whenever I'm curious about different techniques i always look on YouTube, such as smokey eyes, natural look and put ';how to'; in front of it. Most eye shadows, i know maybeline and covergirl come with a picture on the back of the eyeshadow packages showing how to put it on, where to put it etc... stop by target and if you dont want to buy any atleast look at the back of the packages.

What are some good makeup colours (blush eyeshadow etc) that look nice with freckles long brown hair, fair skin

    Blush: ligh pinks, peaches.

Eyeshadows, if you have brown eyes i suggest purples, browns, golds. (what i use)What are some good makeup colours (blush eyeshadow etc) that look nice with freckles long brown hair, fair skin
What eye color do you have? If you have green eyes (like me), deep shades of purple, green, brown, and charcoal look really good, especially with pale skin. These colors can also look very well with blue eyes. With lighter eyes, though, you want to stay away from light shadows, as this can wash out light skin, and does not compliment light eyes. For brown eyes, shades of gold/champagne looks very beautiful.

    Makeup help:eyeshadow.?

my eye shadow doesnt really stay on. It does but it gets all like messed up. like it goes in the indentions on my eyes. Like it get all cressy and sweaty looking. im not sure if im explaning this well, but if you understand please help me, i love my eyeshadow, and i have good brands, i also am good at putting it on, i was just wondering if anyone could help me out becasue it never lasts for the whole day...any tricks??!

    thanks =]]Makeup help:eyeshadow.?
put some chapstick on your eyelids before u add the eyeshadow

no color of course but it holds it in place really goodMakeup help:eyeshadow.?
Before you apply your eyeshadow, pat a very thin layer of liquid concealer (NOT stick concealer - it will make creasing worse) or any foundation onto your lids with a cosmetic sponge or your finger. The concealer or foundation acts as a primer for your shadow, helping it lock into place for all-day wear. There is such a thing as eyeshadow primers (like Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, $14, Sephora) that can help, but most often concealer or foundation works just as well. If your shadow still won't cooperate, try switching to a mousse or liquid eyeshadow. After applying to your lids, dust over with a loose matte powder to help it stick. Hope this helps!
hey i totally know what you're talking about.

    i hate it too.

but i found something that worked.

    1. Wash your eyelids or wherever you put the shadow very well with cold cold water.

    2. put a thin layer of vaseline on and close your eyes for 3 minutes ( i suggest listening to music)

    3. after the vaseline is in the eyelid you can start to lightly brush the eyeshadow on.

    4. wait another 2 minutes.

    5. Put an even thinner layer of vaseline on it and let it dry for another 3 minutes.

    - The advantage of putting the vaseline on too is that it gives it a blended look and not a chalky weird look-

I do this every day and my eyeshadow stays on all day.

    Hope i helped!!!xoxo
    ughhh!

that same thing happens to me until..

when i use moistrueizer, i put some on my eyelids

also so then the eyeshadow will stay in place!
No no no to the chapstick! What you need is a primer hun, check out some at MAC. Vaseline will make your eyelids crease, powder won't hold up and will actually dull the colour of your eyeshadow, and chapstick. Hell no! That's for your mouth, your eyes are tooooo sensitive for that.

Check out MAC studio fix eye primer, primer (or base) makes the eyeshadow pigment stick to the eye, makes the colour more vibrant and prevents creasing. That and it's MADE for your eyes!
try putting alot more on.. and if that doesnt work dont bye cheap crap get lancome or clinigue or go to saphora :) hope this helps
i know exactly what your talking about! and using good eyshadow brands is really good. try using an eyeshadow primer, such as urban decay primer potion. it helps keep the eyeshadow where it belongs
Try applying a base before putting on your eyeshadow. I had the same problem and this works like a charm for me. Mine is Mary Kay, but you can find alternative bases in almost any cosmetic store. They should be slightly creamy and slightly powder-y (if that makes sense). Some even have a bit of color or sparkle that will help bring out the color of your shadow. Good luck!
    use liquid ones
The absolute BEST stuff to get any eye makeup to last all day long is to get Shellack by Benefit. Put on your eyeshadow as normal and then add a coat of Shellack on top and it will last all day. Just keep your eye closed until it is dry (it takes less than a minute).

It is the only thing I have found that keeps my eyeliner from smudging.
What you need is an eye primer to keep your eye makeup stay put. Brands such as MAC, Smashbox and Benefit have eye primers that you can apply before putting on your regular eye makeup. Another way to keep your eyeshadows from creasing is to apply a layer of either concealer or foundation so you have a base for your eyeshadows to grip onto during the day. after you apply your eyeshadows, dust a little bit of translucent powder to add staying power.
Put some of the eyeshadow on and then put soemthing on top of it.Like if u go to a store the makeup part go t the makeup part and look for either a better kin\d/brand or stuff to make it stay.this should help i did it
you can use a shadestick from m.a.c. (this is what i use) i use a cream color and it goes on underneath my eyeshadow its so freakin great. or you can put chapstick on your eyelids. (basically the same effect.
    try the liquidy kind?
well is it the powder kind? because if it is just go to the drug store and buy like a creamy eyeshadow and put that on before.

I love MAC eye shadow because the pigment is so intense, colours are beautiful and they last ages. If you're eye are blue or green you wants colours that are NOT blue or green- they need to contrast.

    Cheap mac makeup or eyeshadow???

does anyone know a site where i can get cheap mac eyeshadow and makeup or wholesale or overseas sitesCheap mac makeup or eyeshadow???
Yep! Ebay, you type in mac eyeshadows or whatever and search by price. For cheap (a few dollars) you can get a ';sample'; size that lasts for about 2 months! That's what I did! :)Cheap mac makeup or eyeshadow???
You have to be careful when buying mac makeup on ebay because some might be fake!

For discount mac makeup you can go to CCO (cosmetics company) which are in outlet centers. You can find locations at the link... :)
Ebay... you can buy it and it is still sealed and everything but it is half the price. and it's real mac make-up most of the time!
I have never actually bought from ebay but I know alot of friends that done that. and they sware by it. They have never bought it at the real price.
N.Y.C find it at a grocery store.

  • Mac makeup help. eyeshadow and blush?

Ok I m turning 17 and I want to change my look a little. I usually wear fresh brew on lips with eyeliner. I was wondering what eyeshadow and blush should i get. I am nc42, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. it would be gr8 if someone could tell me more about honey lust, mythology, texture, soft brown, and expensive pink. do u think expensive pink will good one me. the one who answers all my questions wins with the best suggestion for eyeshadow and blush!Mac makeup help. eyeshadow and blush?
i think a nice brown, like Satin Taupe and the light color, shroom near the brow would look so nice and you can use the expensive pink do fade out the satin taupe to the shroon and do like a smokey effect. then you can get the khol liner Teddy (which is beautiful) and put it on the upper eyelid and on the bottom you can use either a brown as well or very lightly apply a creamy white liner. you should get the 242 shader brush to evenly blend in the three eyeshadow colors and the 213 pluff brush to lightly apply the eyeshadows.Mac makeup help. eyeshadow and blush?
if u have a darker skin like me like a tan then i can tell u what a werar i wear browns and golds and creams on the eyes with black eyeliner and mascaria and a pink lig gloss and a shimmer all over brozner but just a lil and a soft pink blush but again a little not alot of blush but even if your not tan this will still look really good with your dark hair

Get a black eyeshadow, an angled eyeliner brush, and a smudge brush (like those sponge applicators that everyone hates!) and go from there.

    Still having problems with the look - go on youtube and search ';smokey cat eyes';

:)Cat like eye makeup with eyeshadow?
use an eyeliner or thin/flat brush in black/gray and put along your bottom lashes as close and fully covered as you get(it really helps to have eyeliner an then just finish with eyeshadow) take the flat part and just bring it straight out from your lash line a little. Make the triangle by following out your top lash line out and fill in wherever

    eyeliner, eyeshadow, then mascara.
eyeliner, eye shadow, then mascara so you dont smear it.that works best for me
I usually do the shadow first then eyeliner and mascara last. Sometimes I do the eyeliner first then the shadow but the mascara must always be last. That way your shadow doesn't fall into it and mess it up.
Honey, honey, dont put on mascara before eyeshadow. The eyeshadow will fall onto your lashes and you will have to do your mascara over again. I usually put on eyeliner, eyeshadow, then mascara because I don't like too harsh of a line on the eyes, so the eyeshadow softens the liner a bit.
    www.marykay.com

Find a Mary Kay consultant in your area they teach you how for free.
Do you put on eye cream or gel first? Eye area needs moisture so start with that for a good base. After it's sunk in, a minute or two, put concealer at under eye area. Liquid type is great or even beige eye shadow a touch lighter than your own skin tone. Then, do your highlight shadow color first, on brow bone. Go from lightest to darkest. Light shade of color or beige on brow bone, then do lid color of choice and finally finish off with eye liner. Finish with mascara. Voila!
    .
i do my eyeliner first lower and top then i put my eyeshadow on then i put mascara on last
I always put on my eyeliner first, then I go over it with a little eyeshadow the same color to ';set'; it, then I do my eyeshadow all over my lid, then I do mascara last.

    4.mascara

    5.lipgloss
I would do eyeshadow, eyeliner, then mascara.
i do eyeliner , eyeshadow then mascara
eye shadow first! Never too much. Remember makeup is to help you look better not cover you up. Then eyeliner! Try to keep it thin so you don't look like a raccoon! Then mascara. Put on one coat let it dry a little then put on another coat. If you use a mascara curler use it BEFORE mascara never when you have it on. If you put your mascara on before you eyeshadow your lashes will have powder from that shadow on them and look cakey! start with less and if you need to add more do so until you find the look you want! Don't put mascara on you bottom lashes if you want them to be dark blink right after you put on your first coat and it will tint you bottom lashes! If you want more tips look in magazines like ';Cozmo'; and ';Allure'; and ';Marie Clare'; and ';Glamor'; they always have really good tips! Oh and try using good brushes for your eyeshadow and good mascara. I like ';Cover Girl, Fantastic Lash,'; or those new mascaras with the new brushes that really separate your lashes they work really well! Good luck!
    eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara
First, shadow, then liner, then mascara...I also use a base coat for the shadow, it really works, and a good quality liner that DOES stay on all day.
you cant put mascara first because then the eyeshadow will dust on your mascara and your eyeliner wont look fresh so the order is eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara hope this helps!
First put on a natural matte eyeshadow that goes well with your skin tone. Then line your eye, lining as close as you can to your lashline. Then gently smudge your eyeliner with your finger. Last, put on your mascara. good luck! and it took me a lot of practice to get my eye makeup just right.
do the mascara first, so if you mess up or get clumpy u can wash it off without messing up the liner and shadow. then do the shadow. if not, you'll be coloring over the liner. finally, add liner. the color (if dark) will stand out ontop of the shadow and thats what you want! good luck!

    Makeup (Eyeliner/eyeshadow) + Taylor Swift?

I noticed in her music video, Our Song, that she had a gorgeous blue eyeshadow that also went underneath her eyes. I was wondering what kind of shadow would I need to use to create that effect? I was thinking liquid, or the stuff with the pointed tip from VIctoria's Secret? Also, what eyeliner works best non-smearing? THANKS! :]Makeup (Eyeliner/eyeshadow) + Taylor Swift?
I think a cream eyeshadow would give that effect, and Urban Decay has the best eyeliner ever, it never smudges, and they have it in that pretty blue that Taylor Swift wears. You can get it a sephora or urbandecay.comMakeup (Eyeliner/eyeshadow) + Taylor Swift?
I think that liquid eyeshadow would work best, because it will give the colorful affect. My favorite eyliner is NYC. Waterproof eyeliner is only $2, and regular is only $1. For such a low price, it works so well!!! I hope this helps!!!

Clear mascara does work but not as good as black mascara. Also you could use makeup remover for eyeshadow and eyeliner.Do i need makeup remover for eyeshadow?Or eyeliner?
not really, i wash my face every morning and every night so it noramly just comes off then, but if i wear MAC (which is reallly hard to get off) i sometimes just use lotion as makeup remover and it works wonders!
i prefer clear mascara it is way better and i dont think u should wast money in make up revoer just use water to wash it off thats wat i think

    Hope i helped

    luv_1108
Well, you should get them for both. I personally just wash my face instead of using makeup remover, but it's personal preference.

Yes, clear mascara works. I use it all the time. Since I don't have time to deal with clumps or whatever-I use clear mascara bu CoverGirl. It lengths my lashes and makes them look great! It looks completely natural. Plus, it's waterproof for a few hours and at the end of the day it comes off with soap and water!

    'Hope this helped!
Yeah, any eye makeup requires some kind of makeup remover. Lancome makes a good kind, it comes in a blue bottle and it sweeps off anything that's left on your face at the end of the day.

Clear mascara is good for your eyebrows, keeping them in shape. Other than that, it doesn't help much for your eyebrows. It'll keep them neater and maybe seem like it's adding length but the effect won't be as dramatic as a tinted mascara.

N.Y.C. is not a good makeup brand. It's a cheap drug store brand and it's alright if you just want a certain color for one night or something, but you're better off buying something more expensive if you're going to use it every day.

Yes, it is so important to remove all make-up and clean your skin before you go to bed at night, even if it's just wiping a make-up removing wipe over your face. If you leave make-up on, especially eye make-up, you can risk eye infection or damage, and do damage to your lashes.

Clear mascara is great for if you need a super-natural, yet groomed look. Great for school! It defines the lashes without lengthening or adding that inky black or clogging.

Not great for dramatic eyes, but adds a little something and is very nateral sort of wearing nothing at all!

If you don't you will end up looking old and raggy in just a few years so defidently you should use make-up remover

Clear mascar does work and it is amazing!
ya u should use makeup remover..theres also eye makeup remover htey come in these circle pads and have so much moisture in them it doesn't sting ur eyes at all.. i dont know what it's called though sorry i just threw out the tube. and for mascara get estee lauder its worth the money=]
no NYC shouldn't even be classified a s makeup more like ';play makeup'; for a little girl! it is important to use makeup removers especially for the eyes because you dont want to be rubbing your eye area causes wrinkles in the future!i recently started using pond's makeup remover cloths they work great and leave skin soft!
nyc is a good makeup brand. and you CAN use makeup remover for eyeshadow and eyeliner, it makes it a lot easier to get REALLY clean in the shower and not come out with those dark streaks.

1 Both eyeshadow and liner. You need to wash it all off for a fresh start. Use Ponds cream or this:http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

2 Clear mascara doesn't focus on colour. It grooms your lashes only. You might want to put a coat of clear mascara before you put on a black one.

3 It's very cheap and I can see why. It's good for beginners but it's not that good. Very plain..

You need makeup remover for both actually. Clear mascara does work well if you want a more natural look. N.Y.C is a good brand and its cheap too.

Some makeup help? (eyeshadow, mascara, gloss)?

for my school dance, i need eyeshadow, mascara, and lip gloss. i have pretty pale skin and grey-blue eyes. i need it noticeable but not too dramatic. any suggestions? (brand and color)Some makeup help? (eyeshadow, mascara, gloss)?
I have the same skin tone and eye color as you, I also have strawberry blond hair. I use brownish black mascara (black is entirely too dramatic)(Maybeline in a pink tube~it's new). I also use a shimmery brown eyeshadow (once again Maybeline (this goes on with a roller at the end!) Finally for you lip gloss I would go with a light pink color. Try a few and see what looks good. I'm still experimenting to find a good one.

The girl who answered before me suggested pink or silver eyeshadow. I would have to completely disagree. I have tried both of these colors and both have completely made me look even paler than I already am.

I hope this helps and I commend you on your decision to keep it simple and natural! Some makeup help? (eyeshadow, mascara, gloss)?
Free beauty tips on Makeup/Cosmetic tricks on how to apply eyeshadow, mascara, gloss .....

    http://geebal.blogspot.com
To really make your eyes stand out use a black or grey/charcoal coloured eyeshadow on the eyelid just to the crease.

Use a white or silvery eyeshadow to highlight your browbone (just under the eyebrow).

Get your eyebrows waxed before applying.

Use black eyeline on the upper eyelid only along the lashes after applying eyeshadow.

Get an eyelash curler and curl eyelashes then apply black mascara (a couple of coats).

Select a nice light pink lip gloss and a bit of pink blush on the apples of your cheeks.

You should be able to get all of this in Maybellines. This is a really sexy look for night time. Your eyes will be smouldering and will really stand out.
If you were to have pale skin go with a kind of peachy pink blush on the cheek bones . NO eyeliner!! Black mascara. And to exsentuate the grey-blue eyes go for a light but bold color such as a peachy natural pink shadow . More pink than the blush with a natural lip color lip gloss%26gt;YOU WILL LOOK STUNNING!!
try dark brown mascara or black. (maybeline) white and silver eyeshadow. (try rimmel or covergirl(walmart) put the white all over then mix in the silver on the lower half of the eyelid. or you could try pink eyeshadow with a little black at the bottom of the eyelid. try a tinted lipgloss like nyc.
    Try e.l.f.--

Mascara: Try Loreal Double Extended Brown/Black. I have fair skin as well and use that color to bring it out more.

Eyeshadow: Not sure. Sorry! really don't use any.

Lip Gloss: I use one from Avon. With a pink tint to it.

    Good Luck.
depends on what your wearing, but I think you should do violet shimmery eyeshadow. (I have blue eyes too and violet really makes them stand out) bare minerals has a couple good lavender shades. For lipgloss go for peachy pink glossy shades. (stila has great lipgloss in every color you can imagine) and for mascara dior show rocks!!!! your lashes will be miles long

stephanie s. above me had my exact answer... :) i don't want to repeat what she said... but a light brown/shimmer color would be really pretty. :)Need advice on makeup and eyeshadow.?
depends what color your skin is???????????
    Purples, blues, silvers, and browns.

Wear some black mascara to bring attention to your eyes.

The great thing about having blue eyes (you're lucky) is that they just naturally look beautiful. It really doesn't matter. Just wear eye makeup that draws attention to them. That could mean wearing very light eyeshadow, it doesn't mean you have to wear all black. That would ruin your natural beauty. :)
i think a darkish gold color (bronzy) would look great with ur eye color.
browns! Light and dark blues, especially golden colors!
go to maybelline.com and answer the questions and it will give you type of the makeup and shade and every asect you will need to know about it.
the hair colors not too important. blue eye's are good with purples, grays, browns, and GREEN. I love the way green looks with blue eyes. not crazy bright green.

I use a loose powder foundation and blush, some eyeliner, and sometimes lipstick. I've had to cut back on products because I looked older than I actually was :(
I use the smashbox foundation primer along with their moisturizing foundation followed by dark green eyeliner on my top lids and black on my inner lid. I put a small amount of white pigment in the corner of my eyes in order to give me an awake look and use a black volumizing mascara. I then apply a soft pink long lasting lip color and lip balm. :]
For my eyes I normally only wear mascara. Sometimes eyeshadow if I feel like it. And for the rest of my face, I use powder concealer, bronzer occasionally, blush, and thats normally it.
I use Everyday Minerals foundation, their mint concealer to cover pimples and redness, their blush in the color ';Apple';, and their Silk Dust to finish it all off

I use foundation , blush( i never go out without this 2 things),thank mascara , and clear lipstick. sometimes I apply pink lipstick with white/pink eve shadows.
I've stopped using eyeliner as every day make up...because after I've worn it a lot my eye feels really heavy...this can ruin the skin on your eyelid and make it very sensitive, as in dry. so i think u should use mascara and sum eye shadow...that's what i do and my eyes are completely fine.
I wear foundation base/concealer if needed, mascara (black) and lipgloss that is slightly metallic/neutral.

For school, that is (I think it looks a little tarty if you're studying with a face full of make-up! )

    ;) Nikki
I use foundation (only because it has SPF in it), Face Powder to hide imperfections (like pores and zits), eyeshadow, Mascara, and sometimes eyeliner. I also curl my eyelashes and sometimes wear lipgloss, but i always use chapstick.
i pretty much use a whole lot, but i make it look like it is only a bit. i use mac eyeshadows, usually paint pot (bare study) and then a darker eye shadow at the outer of my eyes, then on the crease i wear a darker eye shadow, and a bit higher than that i put a light sprakly eye shadow. then i wear a thin layer of liquid eye liner, on the top, and sometimes on the bottom. then on my cheek bones i put mac bronzer, and body shop graperuit lip balm, and i am good to go.

Makeup tips for an asian girl: fake eyelashes or eyelash curlers? what color eyeshadow?

I'm 100% korean %26amp; I'm usually happy with my creaseless eyes, but when it comes to applying makeup... Houston, we gotta problem. I have pretty long eyelashes [longer than the typical asian], and i just need some tips to play them up a bit. But because of my creaseless eyes, the upper skin on my eyes slightly runs over a part of my eyelashes. I hope that won't be a problem. And I also need some tips on how to make my eyes appear larger without caking on a TON of eyeliner. %26amp; Which eyeshadow colors look best with asians [with kinda tanned skin]? Serious answers, please. thanks a bunch, guys! i appreciate it. ;]Makeup tips for an asian girl: fake eyelashes or eyelash curlers? what color eyeshadow?
well for asian eyes lots of eyeliner will almost always make them looks smaller....try a thin line of black liquid eyeliner to enhance the upper eyelid..try neutral eyeshadows...but dont make them too dark...dont go with fake eyelashes they look fake.....

curl ur lashes (pump three times base up BEFORE applying mascara) then apply a not so thick coat of black mascara...a curved mascara wand gives a nice flair...

dont line ur lower lid too heavily use a lighter color try a smoky eye effect by sweeping out ur outer corners and ur eyes should look gorgeousMakeup tips for an asian girl: fake eyelashes or eyelash curlers? what color eyeshadow?

    blue totally

i ahve an asian friend who weres a light pink

it looks so pretty on her
Apply liquid eyeliner, because pencil will not stay. Curl eyelashes, and then use a waterproof mascara because the waterproof-ness will lock your eyelashes in curled positon. If you want to use eyeshadow, use an eyelid primer like MAC, or benefit, or simply a foundation. Use a light shimmery pink, bronze, or any color that looks good on you.
    Curl your eyelashes!

I would suggest light pink eyeshadow and white underneath the eyebrows, though brown eyeshadow is suppose to make your eyes seem bigger.
The #1 rule of make up is keep it natural looking, so blue would be a little much-in the daytime. I think natural colors, light eyeliner which doesn't have to be black try brown. The best thing to do is find a make-up line that is pretty cheap and try using different colors, especially the eyeliner. With the cheap stuff you won't spend alot trying different things and you will have fun in the meantime. You may actually find a product you like at a lower price. In the evening you want to add a little color, play it up and have fun.

Does anyone have any ideas of applying eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara. just makeup in general.?

okay. First, make sure you have the right colors for your face. Go to a makeup artist for that, don't pick out your first makeup yourself.

Once you have that, for eyeliner, depending on if it's gel, liquid or shadow then techniques vary. But my general rule is keep it thin and close to the lash line. To do this, I close the eye I'm working on and pull my eyelid taut. I very carefully and slowly draw a line on my top eyelid only (looks the most natural and best, in my opinion, but you can put it on the bottom too). Don't put it on the pink inside your eye, it'll fade faster, make eyes look smaller and can be harmful to eyes.

for eyeshadow, pick a neutral color to start w/ such as brown or metallic beige, etc. Get an eyeshadow brush and sweep it from lashline to crease. You can do more later on, but learn the basics first. For mascara, wiggle the brush horizontally at the base of your lashes and drag upwards. simple as that :]Does anyone have any ideas of applying eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara. just makeup in general.?
...ok well, im not sure what ur asking exactly, but here are some makeup tips!

    1. eyliner all the way around your eye makes the eye look smaller

    2. gold and metalic eyeshadow is in style rite now

    3. covergirl professional mascara is the best! no clumps and cheap (i use it!)

    4. when applying blush, make a fish face to find your cheek bones

HOPE THIS HELPS!Does anyone have any ideas of applying eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara. just makeup in general.?
    Best way is to experiment.

The order of applying eye makeup is:

eye shadows - eyeliner - eye brows and last mascara.

Eye shadow would be a over all base then adding darks/lights to increase or decrease the size between the brows to lashes.

EX: If the area just under the brows are puffy and you would like a slimmer look, then add a darker shade lightly.

Try using the search with words like apply, video, eye shadows, make-up and I'll bet there will be a site somewhere with a video of different ways available.
eyeliner-on the top, start in the middel of your eye and draw a smoothe line close to ur eyelashes to the crease of the outside of your eye. no matter what anyone says, dont put eyeliner on the inside of your eye on the bottom, your eye could get infected!!! also start in the middle on the bottom and draw to the outside of your eye as close as you can to the eyelashes with out touching the wet part.

mascara-dont glob on the mascara, just place the brush close to your eye and blink your eye on it.

eyeshadow-what ever color(s) you do start with darkest closest to your eye. then get lighter as you go up. eyeshadow is pretty easy to put on just dont do to much. you can always add more.

foundation-if your using a powder(which i suggest for first time users) us a large full brush. put it in the jar of powder, then tap it on the lid and swish it around in the lid and blend it all over your face. make sure its even too!!

blush-apply to the apples of your cheeks. smile in the mirror and the part that puffs up is where you should put it.

    OTHER

if you have unruly eyebrows, get a clear mascara and it works like eyebrow gel.

liquid eyeliner looks good with a small line on the corner of your eye to make you look dramatic.

dont always go for crazy colors. but sometimes its ok to be spontanious :)

i hope this helped you!! :)

I have no idea what this is, but I would have to think it's not about the COLOURS you use, but about if you are good at applying makeup. A good artist can work with any colour or any combination of colours and make it look beautiful.

    Makeup help. eyeshadow

on my eyes, i only wear mascara and eyeliner. thats it. i want to play with some colors but idk what to try out. what colors do you guys useMakeup help. eyeshadow
I have brown eyes. I wear browns, charcoal, or lavender depending what iI wear.Makeup help. eyeshadow
    Try this:

    1) Get a sparkly champagne eyeshadow and sweep it across your lids and across your browbones, as well as on the inner corner of your eyes. (This opens your eyes up, the sparkles catch the light.)

    2) Use a neutral color on your lids...

    3) Try a crazier or deeper color on the crease of your eyelid. Carefully apply the color with a crease brush. I go for shades of plum and lavender because I have green eyes and I like to enhance them.

    4) Use an eyeliner brush to apply eyeliner to just the outer third of your bottom lid. OR, apply it from the center of your top lid and wing it out for a Cleopatra-type look.

    5) Swipe a coat of regular mascara on your upper lashes.

    6) Take a volumizing mascara and apply it to just your outer lashes.

All of those things will open up and widen your eyes while giving you an opportunity to play around with color.
well if you are just starting to wear eyeshadow start with something simple! i use some MAC eyeshadow but one of my favorites is their color and it is called Retrospeck! Its great and i have used it for a long time! Its just a really shimmery type and its sory of a really light gold! i love it! and if you want some color then MAX Factor and the duo tones they have some really cool colors and they look good and you can always find one that looks good for you! the MAC is about $15 dollars but it works great and lasts long and the MAX Factor is about $6 or 7. both are really great to have! hopefully this helpped you! (:

You could try some basic colors, like neutrals, such as browns and beige. Go on you tube and search for applying eyeshadow. It will show you many different ideas and also give you directions on applying it. If you want dramatic colors, such as greens, blues, violets, ext. then try some on and make sure it goes well with your complexion. There are shades that actually complement your eyes. Almay or seventeen.com has sites that help you pick the right eyeshadow for you. As for me, i like a light shimmer with neutral brown on the crease and a darker color, like brown or plum on the corner. I also put the shimmer eyeshadow on my lower lashes. Make sure you apply eyeshadow before mascara and eyeliner.
Well it really depends on your eye color. I have honey brown or dark brown, they change colors. I use golds, shimmery browns, and forest greens. (this sounds weird, but my fav is called ';mildew'; by urban decay). Purple can be used to play up brown eyes as well, but they are a little trickier cuz they can look like you have a black eye. If you have blue eyes, I recommend neutral colors, like peach or apricot. If you want your eyes to really pop, use blues or greens.
I make makeup tutorials on youtube and I have a long list of requests for videos. If you have certain colors in mind that you want to try, email them to me or leave them as a coment on my youtube page

depends on your eye color! try a contrasting shade to your eye color, here's a little cheat sheet!

brown: jewel toned blues, soft pinks

    blue: taupes, browns, rich hues

    green: eggplant, gold

    hazel: soft pink, eggplant

any color will look good though! just make sure to use a gold highlight shimmer on the brow-bone and inside corner of the eye no matter what color you choose. go bolder at night in comparison to your day look. gorgeous!
Green eyes are most flattered by golds and yellows.

Also great are beige and light browns.

These are all contrast colors and should help your green eyes stand out.

A lighter lipstick, or a lipstick in a tone that blends with the tone of your skin is the best choice for you. (:

if you have blue eyes, def wear blue.

when i wear a purple shirt, i put on purple eyeshadow.

and when i weat pink, i put on a soft subtle pink.

everyday you can sport gold or skin colored eyeshadow its very pretty.
I use white or bronzey orange colors with black eyeliner and mascara. It highlights my blue eyes.

It all depends what color your eyes are.

    Blue: White or bronze-orange colors

    Green: Light brown

    Brown: Light purple or blues

Hazel: In between brown n green

    Hope this helps!

Hmm what color are yoiur eyes ?

If you go to walmart they have a whole line of bright cute colors by mac
I have dark hair and I find that neon colours go really well with it. With fair hair I'd go for paler and more pastelly colours, but neon pink looks so good with blonde hair.
i like pinkz nd creamz they go with basically everything nd they make ur eyez like glow...(try putting a lil shimmer color in the corner of ur eyez it lookz real cute)
Jewel tones are always classy and are pretty hard to mess up. but a lot is dependent on your skin, hair and eye colors.
I think pinks and browns would really good.
Black. Fun and flirty.. blue or purple.

Don't go for pink because it makes you look look all puffy and red!

http://s197.photobucket.com/albums/aa57/ForeverNdAlwaysHis_2007/?action=view%26amp;current=megan62.jpgI need makeup ideas...eyeshadow?eyeliner? colors? help!!?
Hmm, it looks like you have brown eyes..So Im gonna mainly base it on that..

The shades or eyeshadow colors to use would be greens and purples..

If you use green: Find a light shade of brown and apply this over the entire lid of the eye area. Then take a medium color of green and apply this only to the crease of your eye and brush it out towards the outer corner of the eye. Then I would use a brown colored eyeliner. When applying it try to keep it as close to your eyelashes as possible..and as thin as possible. If you want to apply it under your eye as well, only apply it to the outer corner edges of your eye and keep it as thin as well...Also, you can use an eyeliner brush to help smooth the eyeliner in and correct mistakes.

If you use purple: Again, find a light colored purple color *lavender mainly* and apply it over the entier lid area. Use a darker or medium colored purple and only apply it to the crease of your eye...brush it out...etc...Then I would use a black eyeliner and etc..*same instructions below*

A good tip though is that when you apply layers of eyeshadow on your eyes...always make sure that you blend them in...This will make it look better and will helpyour makeup to not smudge later on.

I would also use just a clear colored lipgloss...or a light pink colored lipglos..

For blush..I would just use a bronzer that matches your skintone..

Goodluck1I need makeup ideas...eyeshadow?eyeliner? colors? help!!?
definitely greens and purples. i have brown eyes too and these colours r the best for me
A hair tip: Get bangs-- you have the perfect face shape for bangs because your face will not be covered by them..

As for Makeup: I'd do browns and fall colors...not TOO much black though, it wouldn't flatter your skin tone...

    Hope this helps!

Im a self consious person whats the best makeup, lipgloss, eyeshadow to use for brownskin chicks like me? oh?

and whats the best perfume???any advice ladies??Im a self consious person whats the best makeup, lipgloss, eyeshadow to use for brownskin chicks like me? oh?
Girl, I asked a question very similar to this myself. As the other ladies said, check out MAC..one word: amazing. Everything. Also try Iman cosmetics and Fashion fair, as they cater to women of color. One can never go wrong with clear lipgloss, also try perhaps a navy blue eyeshadow or even a hunter green if you want to walk on the wildside. Makeup is about experimenting, so fake it till you make it.

Oh and as for perfumes, each perfume interacts differently with our own personal scent. So what smells good on one woman, may not smell as hot on you. My personal favs: white diamonds, Goddess by Kimora Lee Simmons, and anything from Victoria secret. If on a budget, try the inexpensive ';Body Fantasies';..which smell heavenly for about a dollar or so.Im a self consious person whats the best makeup, lipgloss, eyeshadow to use for brownskin chicks like me? oh?
    Maybelline,Mac,Covergirl and maybe Clinique
I have to agree with the majority of these ladies. I use Bare Escentuals and MAC. Either one is above drug-store quality and not that expensive $14 for a lippy, $10.50 for a shadow for MAC... Also some people may not know that MAC is owned by Estee Lauder who also owns Bobbi Brown, Stila, Estee Lauder, American Beauties, Aramis, Clinique, Origins, La Mer, and Aveda (and others not listed). HTH
Any nude or natural makeup will work for someone who isn't trying to draw attention to certain features. Blush is something many people of color are afraid of...I say give a sheer one a try. Mascara instantly opens up your look.

As for perfume...I'm in love with Flower by Kenzo (you can get it from Sephora).
I m brownish myself and I use bobby brown cosmetics. It works well for me.My beauty tip when you put on make up try to make it look natural and blend it well with your skin tone.Go and look for some books in the library.Even Bobby Brown herself has written some books.I m sorry but I have forgotten the title.Good Luck.
    Check out: www.maccosmetics.com

They have the best make-up for all skin tones, and they give great advice for matching your make-up.

I love Calvin Klein Eternity Moment perfume. I have also used Dolce and Gabana Light Blue, Escada Rockin' Rio, Vera Wang, and Ralph Lauren Turquoise. I loved them all!
the best make - up to use is something you are going to fill conformable and all most looks like your not wearing any . i have the same skin type so her is what i think would work for you !!!!!

makeup: pure make up by Maybelle it very light on the skin it's great in hot days too

lip gloss: something not to clea try a Pinch of Pink or a Plum Shine that really makes the lips pop !!!

eyeshadow: your skin color should really make these color and your eyes stand out .. try a little Lilac ,Plum and black Frost

    hope this helps
    MAC
you can opt for MAC, Revlon or Bobbi Brown... they have a wide range of colours to choose from and are easy to apply, as texture is smooth.

Best perfume... I like beyond paradise by estee lauder or sensi by georgio armani.. it find these very lively perfumes..
MAC makes awesome makeup that is great on all skin types. I would suggest that you go to your local MAC counter and see what they can do for you- they will give you a makeover based on the color of your skin, undertones, eyes and of course, your preferences. The best perfume? That is easy- whatever scents that you like. You must learn to trust your own instincts- don't be afraid to experiment with make-up, shadow colors and lipgloss. You are beautiful.
probably nothing. Brown skinned women are very attractive. If you want some make-up advice, I think the best thing is to look in magazines where there are celebrities who have similar skin and hair types. Try to match their make up if you feel they look particularly good. In terms of the perfume, that's all a taste you develop. Figure out what your favorite flower smell is and then try to find a perfume that mimics it.
MAC is the best for make up. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it. The gloss is great too!
I'm also dark skinned. As far as foundation goes, you can't beat Prescriptives color scheme. You'll find your exact tone or they'll custom blend it for you.

For color, I have to agree with everybody else. MAC has a huge variety of shades. You'll just have to do some trying on to see what's best for you.

    Have fun!

Is there any way to make artifical makeup like lipstick eyeshadow ect. from common household items?

Well I know you can take eyeshadow and mix it with vaseline if you want to make it into a lipstick or blush but I don't think I would use household items on my face. Unless you were to use flowers for lipstick or something of that sort or maybe food colouring ?Is there any way to make artifical makeup like lipstick eyeshadow ect. from common household items?
vaseline works as a good lip gloss.

but don't use cleansers that can harm you.Is there any way to make artifical makeup like lipstick eyeshadow ect. from common household items?
I've looked into this too - it's more trouble than its worth - it's funny you call what you're looking for artificial but what you are using is artificial and you are looking for natural...

    strawberries on cheeks and lips?
Maybe use a nontoxic marker or something???? Or charcoal for eyeliner (black of course!). Maraschino cherry juice would work for lipstick I guess. Good luck!

    Cool Eyeshadow Or Makeup Tips?

So, basically I'm just looking for tips on how to do makeup. My focus is mainly eyes. I don't use foundation or lipstick, so I don't need any of those kinds of tips.

I'll use any colors, sometimes I just like to do my makeup crazy and take pics. So I'm up for anything. Also, if you'd like to see me try your makeup tips and take a pic and post them, let me know.

I have hazel eyes, that can sometimes look green or yellow.

I'm up for any kinds of eye makeup ideas. PICTURES WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Videos would work, too.

dear makeup has to be done according to the occasion.

what are you looking for. i mean party make up or daily wear

the pics i have seen in ur examples are of night party ones

    these are funky

but i would suggest you to be ur expert yourself.

wear different types of makeup and decide accordinglyy

since u have hazel eyes u have lots of options.

but you l look great in pastel shades
Here are the links to the pictures:

    Here are the steps:

    1. Prime your eyelid. I use either a MAC paint pot in Soft Ochre or a shadestick in Beige-ing.

    2. Apply loose powder in the shade Translucent in order to catch any fall out. (Translucent powder doesn't have a color...)

    3. Apply a piece of Scotch tape to the outer corner of your eye at an angle... you'll see what I mean once you look at the pictures. This step is somewhat optional, but it really helps to define that line.

    4. Apply your shadow (The gold color from Flamboyant eyeshadow duo from the Loreal HiP collection is what is used in the photo.) all over the lid and on the inner corner of your eye.

    5. Using a blending brush, apply black eyeshadow (I used Lucifer from the Kat Von D palette called Ludwig.) to the outer corner and blend up and into the inner crease. Don't go all the way... stop about midway. Make sure you also blend the gold with the black in the middle... we don't want harsh lines!

    6. Apply a highlight right underneath your brow. I used Nylon eyeshadow from MAC.

    7. Define your brows... I just use a generic brown brow pencil.

    8. Remove the tape and use a brush to remove the powder from underneath your eye.

    9. Apply eyeliner to the top and bottom lashlines. I used Graphblack roll-up eyeliner on my bottom lashline and Loreal liquid liner in Black on the top lash line. I also winged my eyeliner on the top lash... but it isn't a dramatic wing. Just sweep the liner a little past the lashline at an angle.

    10. Apply mascara. I used Maybelline Colossal mascara in Black as a first coat. I then applied the ';pink and green'; mascara... it might be Maybelline, too... in Very Black as a top coat.

That's it! Normally, I spray a little hairspray over my makeup so that it stays... this is optional, though. Also, you can change out the shade of eyeshadows and eyeliners to get different looks with this... Sometimes I'll use purple instead of gold or whatever... Enjoy!

I want to learn how to do my eye makeup like with eyeliner and the eyeshadow under the eye too.Any tips?

Yes, go to youtube and search for tutorial video's. That's the best source.I want to learn how to do my eye makeup like with eyeliner and the eyeshadow under the eye too.Any tips?
k well to not make it look like hooker makeup,

take brown eyeliner and trace your inner eyelid, so like the part closest to your eye above your eyelashes.

and for doing eyeshadow under there, take either a small, skinny brush or one of those spongy brush things eyeshadow usually comes with and dip it in water, and then put the eyeshadow on the SIDE of the brush/sponge thing, and then trace your eyes with it.

ive tried it and it looks really good!

hope i helped. :)I want to learn how to do my eye makeup like with eyeliner and the eyeshadow under the eye too.Any tips?
test it our over and over and over again on yourself.

everyone is different, even between siblings eye makeup needs to be done differently.

for example me and my sister, for a smokey eye i can have a lot more black on than she can

    just try differnt methods and techniques. you could read or watch some tutorials and hints etc online and then test those out and see what you can do to make it seem more ';your styled';
