my opinion!!

eyeshadow- urban decay!

lips- hmm..... victorias secret

foundation- maybelline for me. also clinique makes pretty colors. covergirl has cute and cheap blushes. and bareminerals foundation is the bomb

mascara- MAYBELLINE

eyeliner- i dont like pencil. what i do is i have an eyeliner brush, and i dip it in my mascara then line my eyes with it. i use lashblast luxe mascara for this. it works great. or you can just buy those eyeliner pots by chanel or MACWhich makeup brand is best for eyeshadow, mascara, etc?

gor eyshadows i think it's loreal for sure and for liprpoducts its between revlon and l'oreal for foundation i think its almay and maybelline and mascra it's maybelline and eyliner its revlon or cover girl

the mac 224. They do cost a lot, but I would just invest in one. I did when I was like 14 or so with my friend and nothing else has compared since now except Stila.

yes i would recommend buying the palette!( i have it) %26amp; it comes with a variety of colours so you can wear a certain colour if you want to be more natural or if your going out you can dress your eyes up with a more intense colour!

Ps; I personally use my finger when applying eyeshadow i dunno why i just seem to do it better, but for brushes any small eyeshadow brush should do the trick doesnt necessarily have to be mac

MAC is always a good brand but if you dont have alot of eyeshadows get a pallete

if you want bright colors: ben nye grand lumiere pallete

if you want softer neutral colors: purminerals beauty and numbers pallette this pallette has directions for every eye color

if u want singles or duos: too faced sephora uban decay MAC

i suggest: MAC pigments or mineralized eyeshadow duos from MAC

these may be pricier but are high quality with great color pay off

remember you can find good prices on MAC stuff on ebay dicount stores and samples at the counters
I think you'd be better off buying from the drug store products like Rimmel or CoverGirl.... MUCH cheaper! You're paying for the MAC brand name. Sure it's good stuff, i use it myself (but i'm 30+), but when no one knows what you're wearing once it's on. Heck, you can even buy makeup at the dollar store! If you buy the other brands, you can buy more %26amp; play with the colors more to see what suits you. For someone you're age, i'd recommend sticking with a single color. And if you want your eyes to be the focus, go lighter or neutral with your lipstick or gloss.

Just remember that makeup should enhance your natural beauty, not distract from it. Keep it simple! And don't look at Amy Winehouse for eyeshadow techniques! Yikes!!!! ;o)
Buy the palette, as it's alot better to have more than one colour as you can blend and stuff. I find the best eyeshadow brushes are either MAC or Body shop!

I would start with putting a little conceler on the bottom of ur eyes then... put some foundation or eyeshadow cream so your eyeshadow doesnt crease ...

1.start with a solid gray eyeshadow

2.then at the coner of ur eye put a black eyeshadow maybe with black eyeshadow with glitter in it.

3.next go ahead and apply a dark brown eyeliner straight across your eyes

4.then apply your mascara

5.apply your face powder or foundation

6.add some blush

7.apply your lipgloss or lipstick and your ready to go!

It depends on which kind you get...

Foundation if it is liquid typically lasts longer than powder. Usually about 8-10 hours.

Eyeliner last a LONG time...for me at least.

Eyeshadow will typically last as long as a powder foundations 6-8 hours as long as you dont rub your eyes too much.

Lipstick...depends on the kind you get. I reccomend the new cover girl color gloss combo...it lasts forever and doesnt get all over everything.Can somebody tell me how long does the makeup last (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick,lip%26amp;eye liner, foundation etc)?

Blush - 5-6 months

Lipstick - 4-5 months

Eyeliner - 3 months

Mascara will start to clump and smell funny. Powder, blush and eyeshadow usually will become harder to use, you will have to work harder to get the desired amount of color. Liquid eyeshadows I have found will clump while you are putting them on, and not go on as smooth, and they to can smell kind of funny. You are not supposed to use mascara after 3 months, but I think as long as none of these things are happening you will be fine.

i usually use it 'til it doesn't do the job any more - or it smells ';off';

not sure if there's a use by date on make-up, but you can usually tell when a cream is past its best.

powder shadows are usually pretty good for a few years. i've kept some so long they're back in fashion right now.

i really do not like NYC eye shadows- they have terrible staying-power and pigmentation.. i suggest looking into NYX, HIP, MAXFACTOR, or Loreal shadows- they are really great if your looking into drugstore brands.. i also suggest looking into loreal de-crease which is an eyeshadow primer thats really affordable..

if you want FANTASTIC eye shadows i suggest looking into NARS and MAC. they are more expensive but worth the price. Is NYC eyeshadow good makeup? ?
Nyc is a cheap brand like not good quality,

try NYX instend if you do decide to get nyc make sure you have an eye shaodw base like URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION at sephora
